Okemos Burger King robbed

Meridian Township police are investigating the Thursday robbery of a Burger King restaurant, 2010 Grand River Ave. in Okemos.

An employee told police a 5-foot-10-inch male with a thin build entered the restaurant and forced the employees to remove money from a safe and cash registers. The suspect made off with an undisclosed amount of money.

Nobody was hurt in the robbery.

The suspect was last seen wearing dark colored pants, a black shirt and a black coat.

Anyone with information regarding the robbery is being asked to call Meridian Township police at (517) 853-4800 or Crime Stoppers at (517) 483-STOP.
