Student punched, robbed

Two unknown suspects entered the room of an 18-year-old Bryan Hall resident Thursday, punched him in the face and stole his laptop, according to MSU police. The victim told police he was in his dorm at about 7:10 p.m. when two unknown men entered his room. One suspect proceeded to punch the victim in the face while the other pulled the victim’s shirt over his head and stole his laptop. The suspects fled with the computer, which was tossed into nearby bushes and recovered after the victim chased the suspects.

One suspect boarded a Capital Area Transportation Authority bus, police said. The first suspect was described as about 6 feet tall with black hair, brown eyes and a black mustache. The second suspect was a male with black hair, a medium complexion and a medium build. Anyone with information regarding the incident is being asked to call MSU police at (517) 355-2222.
