Freshmen fifteen Q's
Chris Vannini
1. What is your major?
Journalism.
2. Where are you from?
Troy, Mich.
3. Where do you live on campus?
West Holden Hall.
4. What do you enjoy most about MSU?
The whole campus experience — living in the dorms. We’re a really tight-knit group on the floor, and we always all go out together.
5. What’s been the biggest change about coming to college?
Doing stuff on my own, like doing my own laundry and going to get food.
6. What is your least favorite class?
My ISP class — it’s too early and my teacher is boring, and I keep falling asleep in class.

8. How are things with your roommate?
Awesome, we have no problems at all.
9. Are you looking forward to going home for Thanksgiving break?
I am — not because I’m homesick, I’m just ready to go back.

10. How have you changed so far this semester?
I feel I’m more outgoing with people I don’t know.
In high school everyone knows everyone, but I liked getting a new start and recreating myself.
11. What do you do in your spare time?
A lot of times I just go to other people’s rooms in the hall, and we just chill.
12. How do you get around campus?
I ride my bike everywhere. Recently though, since it’s been colder, I bought a semester bus pass.
13. Where do you want to live next year?
I know I’m going to live in a dorm — probably in South Complex. I really like this location.
14. What are you looking forward to next year?
Being able to go out and know my way around.
Welcome Week was weird because I didn’t know where anything was, and I didn’t know many people, but next year I’ll enjoy it more.
