November 18, 2007

MSU police are investigating an attempted carjacking that occurred near Kedzie Hall between 4:30 and 5:10 p.m. Thursday.

A 22-year-old female student reported an unknown male approached her car, which was parked near the west side of Kedzie Hall, grabbed her arm and tried to steal her car keys, MSU police said.

The victim described the suspect as a 5-foot-8-inch, 170-pound male with brown hair and a medium build.

He was last seen wearing a black and gray coat and New Balance tennis shoes.
