Machine window smashed

Vandals smashed the front window of an excavating machine parked on campus last week, causing $500 in damage, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said. A 39-year-old male reported that the excavator’s front window had been broken with an unknown instrument by unknown suspects between 5:30 p.m. on Oct. 4 and 7 a.m. on Oct. 5, McGlothian-Taylor said. The excavator was located on the west side of Farm Lane and south of Service Road, McGlothian-Taylor said.
