Theft in Music Building
A book bag containing cash, a wallet and an iPod were among the estimated $435 worth of personal property stolen from the Music Building on Monday, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said. At about 6:20 p.m., a 20-year-old female student left an unoccupied room in the building to make a purchase from a vending machine, McGlothian-Taylor said. When she returned five minutes later, a book bag she left on a chair was missing. Nobody was in the room, which was unlocked when the student left, McGlothian-Taylor said.
