Light battery snagged
A battery used to power a light source brought in for the MSU-Indiana football game was swiped earlier this week, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said. Unknown suspects removed the light battery, which looks similar to a car battery, between midnight Sunday and 8 a.m. Monday, McGlothian-Taylor said. The light was being used to help with traffic visibility at the intersection of Wilson Road and Farm Lane following the football game, McGlothian-Taylor said. The battery is estimated to be worth $80. There are no suspects in the theft.
