Last year the office had 1,720 contacts, which is a record high.
Out of the 1,720 contacts, 1,068 were students.
Stan Soffin, MSU’s ombudsman, said the most significant change with the office throughout the 40 years was its technological advances.
Now the office can respond to a problem through their Web site in less than 24 hours, he said.
