Illegal immigration will not feed terrorism, hurt economy

Thank you, Eric Thieleman, for bringing the topic of illegal immigration to the attention of the public with your article Undocumented people a problem (SN 9/19). I applaud your fearmongering tactics, such as tying this issue to terrorism, our economy and even the survival of our culture. Can I suggest communism for your next article?

We, as a people, must remain vigilant in order to protect our great country from this scourge. Since reading your article, I have personally been on the look out to catch these illegals slaughtering innocent Americans in their hometowns, as you said they are known to do. So far the only ones I’ve seen were working long, hard hours to feed their families and minding their own business, a very clever ploy while they plan their acts of terror.

I would also like to thank you for giving recognition the great Rep. Steve King (R-Iowa), a man who courageously called Sen. Joe McCarthy, a “hero for America” for his efforts to purge our country of the red menace. King is a man so committed to putting an end to illegal immigration that he suggested his own son’s contracting business should build (and possibly profit from) the wall along the border. We need more of our elected officials to take a stand and make some sacrifices to protect our country like King has done.

The American public needs to wake up and realize that we are under attack. Thanks to the efforts of people like you, Eric Thieleman, we may one day end this miserable experience. Rupert Murdoch would be proud.
