The State News: Are there any inside jokes on the team?
Elissa Unger: Everyone calls me E-Money because I like rap — but I’m really the whitest girl ever.
SN: Any hidden talents?
EU: I can lick my elbow. I can’t roll my tongue, but I can lick my elbow.
SN: What was your first car and do you still have it?
EU: My first car was a black, ’98 Pontiac Grand Am. It was the biggest money pit ever, and I think we spent more money fixing it than on the car, but I loved that car. We don’t have it anymore.
SN: Why did you decide to go to MSU?
EU: I looked at Penn State, but I’m from Pennsylvania and I’ve lived there all my life and it’s like a high school reunion at Penn State. I really liked the coaching staff here and the girls were all really friendly.
SN: If you could date any celebrity, who would it be?
EU: David Beckham.
