Student chased through campus
A 22-year-old female student reported being chased from the Equine Performance Center to the Hannah Plaza by an unknown male Sunday, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said. The student was jogging by the southwest corner of the building at 7:15 p.m. when a white male made a suggestive comment to the female runner, McGlothian-Taylor said. When the jogger ignored
the suspect, he began chasing her toward the center of campus. The female student flagged down a passerby for help and the suspect fled. The suspect was described as 5-foot-5-inches and about 180 pounds with brown hair, brown eyes and a scar under his left eye. Police are still searching for the suspect.
