Student chased through campus
A 22-year-old female student reported being chased from the Equine Performance Center to the Hannah Plaza by an unknown male Sunday, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said. The student was jogging by the southwest corner of the building at 7:15 p.m. when a white male made a suggestive comment to the female runner, McGlothian-Taylor said. When the jogger ignored
the suspect, he began chasing her toward the center of campus. The female student flagged down a passerby for help and the suspect fled. The suspect was described as 5-foot-5-inches and about 180 pounds with brown hair, brown eyes and a scar under his left eye. Police are still searching for the suspect.

Saginaw man arrested on suspicion of stealing credit cards
An 18-year-old Saginaw resident with no university affiliation and an outstanding felony warrant from the MSU police was arrested Friday and charged with possession of a financial transaction device. The suspect is accused of stealing credit cards from a 19-year-old student with no university affiliation at the Music Practice Building, McGlothian-Taylor said. A building employee noticed the suspect walking into the building and the victim noticed the suspect
