Police briefs 08/30/07

August 30, 2007

An Urban Planning and Landscape Architecture Building vending machine sustained $300 worth of damage earlier this week, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said. A 41-year-old employee reported the Gatorade machine’s side panel was damaged by an unknown object between Tuesday and Wednesday. Police are still investigating, McGlothian-Taylor said. The incident is the latest in a string of vandalized vending machines. About $1,000 worth of damage was done to a South Kedzie Hall Pepsi machine last week. In late July, five vending machines were vandalized at various spots across campus.
