I am writing in response to Foot baths for Muslims spark religious debate (SN 8/6).
Once again, the ACLU picks and chooses what they will and will not defend regarding the Muslim foot baths. They go out of their way to crack down on Christians but seem to have no problems when Islam is involved.
They have done the same thing with illegal immigration, as they try to shut down every law enacted by Americans to prevent foreign criminals from getting services here – all the while not taking any stance at all on any law or ordinance aiming to aid and abet them, such as the recent illegal identification card incident in Connecticut.
They are, and have always been, a bunch of left wing elitist, liberal nuts who are hell-bent on destroying this country. I thought the “A” in ACLU stood for American – I guess not.
