East Lansing police are looking for information about a man who tried to rob Tasty Twist, 1307 E. Grand River Ave., on July 25.
The man tried to enter the back door of the business at around 11:30 p.m., according to a news release. After discovering the heavy screen door was locked, he brandished a semi-automatic handgun and told a Tasty Twist employee to open the door.
The employee hid behind the inside door and called the police, who were unable to find the man with the gun, the release stated. No shots were fired and nobody was injured in the attempted robbery.
There are no suspects.
