Take a journey back in time, to an age when flower power was a way of life and "groovy" was considered trendy slang, with Grand Ledge's 27th annual Yankee Doodle Days.

Get down to "Sounds of the Sixties," performed by Mudge's Follies at 7 p.m., Friday and Saturday in the Grand Ledge High School auditorium, 820 Springs St.

Tickets can be purchased at the Grand Ledge Area Chamber of Commerce,121 South Bridge St., as well as at the following Grand Ledge businesses: Four Seasons Gift Shop, 218 South Bridge St.; Ace Hardware, 1035 S. Clinton St.; BridgeWater Salon & Spa, 210 N. Bridge St.; and MacDowell's Hearth & Flowers, 228 S. Bridge St. It's $9 for adult tickets in advance, and $12 at the door. For children 12 and younger, the cost is $3.
