Police briefs 06/26/07

Three student employees in the Plant Biology Laboratories were victims of theft between 1-2:45 p.m. Friday, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said.The first victim, a 19-year-old female student, had her $60 purse, $40 Apple iTrip FM transmitter and keys stolen. The second victim, an 18-year-old female student, had her $20 purse, $50 in cash and credit cards stolen. The third victim, a 20-year-old male student, had his $200 Apple iPod stolen, McGlothian-Taylor said.The students placed their items in storage bins and when they returned they found the items missing. The hen house, where the items were left, is unlocked between 8 a.m. and 6:30 p.m., McGlothian-Taylor said.There was no sign of forced entry and there are no suspects, McGlothian-Taylor said.Ashley A.
