The Lansing Board of Water & Light introduced the utility company's new general manager Monday.
J. Peter Lark, chairman of the Michigan Public Service Commission, was one of 124 candidates for the position. The position was offered to Lark on Friday, and a special meeting introduced Lark to employees and to the public.
Lark must now sign a written contract before acting as general manager. He is expected to replace Interim General Manager Dick Peffley in mid-July.
