After six straight NCAA Tournament-less seasons, Michigan fired men's basketball coach Tommy Amaker on Saturday. The news caused stock of all Michigan-based turtleneck distributors to plummet.

For $399, NASCAR fans now can drive a single-seat race car for four laps around the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. For an extra $50, Tony Stewart will run them off the track.

Atlanta Falcons quarterback Michael Vick opened his own winery restaurant in Atlanta last week. The eatery also has an extensive dessert menu, including Vick's own special-recipe brownies.

Cleveland Cavaliers center Scot Pollard has come under fire for looking into a TV camera during a recent game and saying, "Hey, kids, do drugs." Anti-drug officials are unconcerned, however, saying any children who heard Pollard's comments and saw his hair likely would be too scared to ever try drugs, anyway.
