Minnesota high school officials imposed an eight-day suspension of wrestling competitions and practices after 24 cases of herpes were reported by teams statewide. Officials are checking to see if any recent meets were attended by Paris Hilton.

A Nashville judge last week cleared Tennessee Titans cornerback Adam "Pacman" Jones of charges filed saying he spit on a woman at a nightclub. The judge was concerned that Pacman couldn't get a fair trial with a jury that included Inky, Pinky, Blinky and Clyde.

The Orlando Magic collected donations for local tornado victims before Friday's game. The Magic then sent around another collection plate for donations to buy out Darko Milicic's contract.

Highly touted defensive back prospect Ronald Johnson shunned MSU for Southern Cal at a press conference Sunday. MSU head coach Mark Dantonio's spirits were buoyed, however, by the signing of several 7-year-olds who should compete immediately for a spot in the "Kickoff Kids" promotion.

Former MSU quarterback Drew Stanton reportedly impressed scouts at last week's Senior Bowl. Some were confused, however, by Stanton's habit of screaming in horror, "Oh God, here they come again!" after every snap.
