A red and white magnetic sign attached to a pizza delivery truck was stolen Nov. 7 outside South Hubbard Hall. The driver parked his 1995 blue Plymouth Neon Coupe in the residence hall's parking loop at about 1:30 a.m. When he returned, the sign was gone, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said. The driver, a 52-year-old man, told police he parked the car near a dark sedan, and when he noticed the sign was missing, students standing nearby indicated that a man wearing a gray sweatshirt got out of the sedan and took it, McGlothian-Taylor said. The lighted sign had lettering that read "Special Delivery" and is worth $300. The police report did not indicate at which restaurant the driver works.Maggie Lillis
