Armed robbery on campus Sunday

A 39-year-old MSU student was the victim of an armed robbery Sunday in Spartan Village Apartments.

The incident occurred at about 2:30 a.m., and two men wielding an unknown weapon were involved.

A laptop, TV, phones and cash were stolen during the incident, according to the MSU online police blotter.

The first suspect is described as a 5-foot-8, 145-pound male who is about 22 years old. He was wearing a light gray or white sweatshirt and acid-washed jeans.

The other suspect, a 5-foot-11, 165-pound man about the age of 23, had "close-cropped" hair and a thin mustache, was last seen wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, a dark blue or green lightweight jacket and white tennis shoes.

MSU police ask anyone with information about the robbery to contact the department at (517) 355-2222.
