Martin Jarmond has been promoted to assistant athletic director of development.

He will continue to work with the $9 million Annual & Special Giving program in the Athletic Development Office and will now also be involved with strategic planning, customer service and diversity initiatives.

In his new position, Jarmond will also assist Athletics Director Ron Mason with the execution of strategic initiatives.

Jarmond has been involved with fundraising for the $1.2 billion University Captio campaign, which includes a $76 million budget for intercollegiate athletics from his time with the Ralph Young Fund. He was also involved with the changes to Spartan Stadium.
