A 43-year-old female reported Tuesday that she was given fraudulent papers when she purchased a horse Feb. 25 at the MSU Pavilion for Agriculture and Livestock Education. She bought the horse from a man, who was a resident of Minnesota, and received the fraudulent papers at the time of sale, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said. The loss is worth about $1,908, and the investigation is still open, McGlothian-Taylor said.Lindsey Poisson
