Six convertible cars parked in Lot 89 have been broken into during the past week, MSU police Lt. Scott Beckner said. The soft tops of the cars were cut off, Beckner said. An iPod was reported missing from one of the vehicles. Damage for each vehicle has been estimated at $1,000-$1,400, Beckner said. Police have no suspects, but are still investigating.A 21-year-old student reported her book bag and $85 in valuables, including a wallet, stolen from Olin Health Center's pharmacy on the first floor between 4 and 4:10 p.m. on Thursday, Beckner said. The student left her bag unattended near the pharmacy's computer, Beckner said.A 36-year-old Florida resident is suspected of leaving 54 phone messages at MSU College of Law's administration offices from different pay phone locations in Florida during the past week, Beckner said. The calls were not threatening but have been a nuisance, Beckner said.Adam Lark
