A 43-year-old university employee reported a painting was stolen from Williams Hall between 5 p.m. March 24 and 3:30 p.m. March 27, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said. A $300 painting of dogs playing poker was stolen from the basement lounge. There was $200 in damage to the fireplace mantel below the painting.An 18-year-old student reported her dorm key and $5 in cash stolen from a Rather Hall game room between 7:10 and 7:20 p.m. Wednesday, McGlothian-Taylor said. The items were taken from her purse, which was left unattended.A 21-year-old student reported $200 in damage to his Emmons Hall door between 4:30 and 5:45 p.m. Wednesday, McGlothian-Taylor said.
