Films coming out this Friday:

"Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire," starring Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint. Directed by Mike Newell. Rated PG-13.

"Walk the Line," starring Joaquin Phoenix, Reese Witherspoon and Ginnifer Goodwin. Directed by James Mangold. Rated PG-13.

Special film treat for East Lansing:

"Intimate Stories," starring Javier Lombardo and Antonio Benedictis. Directed by Carlos Sorin. In Spanish with English subtitles. Playing tonight at 7:30 p.m. in the East Lansing Hannah Community Center, 819 Abbott Road ($7 general admission and $5 students and senior citizens). Playing Friday through Sunday at 7 p.m. and 9:15 p.m. in Wells Hall ($6 general admission and $3 students).

Arts

Today, Friday, Saturday, Sunday: "The Life," a musical about prostitutes and pimps put on by MSU Department of Theatre and MSU School of Music at Fairchild Theatre in the Auditorium. Performances are at 7:30 p.m. tonight, 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 3 p.m. Sunday. Tickets cost $17.50 for adults, $9.50 for students and $13.50 for seniors and can be purchased through the Wharton Center in advance at (800) WHARTON. Due to adult themes and language, this show is not intended for children.

Today, Friday, Saturday, Sunday: "To Be Announced," a musical about the challenges of opening a new theater by a small theater company put on by Sunsets With Shakespeare. Performances at 8 p.m. tonight, Friday and Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday in R.E. Olds Anderson Rotary Barn at Woldumar Nature Center, 5739 Old Lansing Rd. in Lansing. Tickets cost $15 general admission or $7 for students and seniors.

Friday: "Cir*cus/Car*ni*val" exhibition will open at (SCENE) Metrospace, 303 Abbott Road, from 6-10 p.m. The event will feature the works of 12 artists, circus and carnival games, a performance by Calliope and food catered by Spartan Signature Catering. All ages of attendants are welcome and encouraged to wear costumes.
