MSU senior field hockey forward Michelle Huynh-Ba has been named a first-team All-American by the National Field Hockey Coaches Association. Senior goalie Christina Kirkaldy was also selected as a second-team All-American.

Huynh-Ba, the third first-team All-American in MSU history, was fourth in the Big Ten with 14 goals this season. Her 29 points were eighth in the Big Ten.

Kirkaldy started every game of her MSU career and was second in the conference this year with a 1.53 goals-against average.

Senior midfielder Jessica Miller and freshman defender Inge Kaars Sijpestijn were also named to the NFHCA All-West Region Second Team.
