A 19-year-old student reported two cameras stolen between 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday and 10 p.m. Wednesday from his North Case Hall dorm room, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said.The two Canon Powershot S410 cameras, valued at $450 each, were reportedly taken off a shelf in his room.He told police his roommate always locks the door, but he suspects someone might have entered through the bathroom he shares with his suitemates. He said they often have many people in their room.The case is still under investigation. A 21-year-old student told police his Motorola cell phone was stolen after he left it in a classroom between 12:20 p.m. and 1 p.m. Wednesday, McGlothian-Taylor said.The man told police he left the phone on the floor near his bag in the room. He left the room at about 12:20 p.m. and when he remembered he left his phone and returned at 1 p.m., the phone was gone, McGlothian-Taylor said.The case is still under investigation. A 64-year-old employee told police $185 in items were stolen from her office while she was on leave between Dec. 20 and Tuesday.A $120 TV-VCR combination set, a $50 pewter picture frame and a $15 Mexican vase were stolen, McGlothian-Taylor said.The case is still under investigation.Lauren Phillips
