I find it ironic that the same Republicans who fight so strongly against universal health care are the ones who now are trying to keep a woman alive over what the state courts have for the last 15 years consistently agreed were her wishes.

Apparently since Terri Schiavo's family can afford to keep her alive, they have a duty to do so, even if it's not what she would have wanted. On the other hand, people who can't afford health insurance are out of luck. I guess to a Republican, some lives (people who have money) are more sacred than others.

It's also shameful how quickly the self-proclaimed "champions of states' rights" forget their own arguments when they are the ones who have control of the federal government.
