A 22-year-old female student reported her laundry stolen between 1 a.m. and 2:30 a.m. Monday from a Spartan Village laundry room, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said.The student's friend, a 32-year-old male from Grand Rapids, was washing the woman's two queen-size cotton bed sheets, a queen-size cotton comforter and four towels, and put the items in a dryer, McGlothian-Taylor said.He left the area, and when he returned at 2:30 a.m., he reportedly discovered them missing.The man said others were doing laundry at the same time, McGlothian-Taylor said. There are no suspects, and the case is still under investigation. A 19-year-old student reported her MP3 player was stolen at about 10 p.m. Thursday from her Landon Hall room, McGlothian-Taylor said.The woman told police she left her room to visit a friend upstairs and left her door partially open, McGlothian-Taylor said.The $300 MP3 player was left on top of the woman's dresser, she told police, and nothing else was missing.There are no suspects and the case is still under investigation.Lauren Phillips
