A 19-year-old male student was arrested on charges of possession of marijuana and possession with intent to deliver at midnight Thursday in East Wilson Hall, said MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor.Officers were patrolling the building when they smelled a strong odor of marijuana emanating from a room, she said. The officers made contact with the resident, who admitted to having marijuana in the room.There was also various paraphernalia within the room which, from the officers' experience, they recognized as an intent to deliver, McGlothian-Taylor said.The student was arrested, processed and released by the MSU Department of Police and Public Safety and the case will be referred to the Ingham County Prosecutor's office, McGlothian-Taylor said.Lauren Phillips
