MSU police issued a warrant Monday for the arrest of an MSU student charged with the possession of child sexually abusive material and using computers to commit a crime, said MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor.Jonathan Kenneth Singer, 21, is wanted for eight felony counts, according to East Lansing's 54-B District Court records.The first four felony charges are for possession of child sexually abusive material, which carry a penalty of four years in prison and a $10,000 fine per charge, McGlothian-Taylor said.The other four felony charges are for using computers to commit a crime, which carry a seven-year penalty and $5,000 fine per charge, McGlothian-Taylor said.The warrant was issued after a lengthy investigation by the MSU Department of Police and Public Safety, she said.Singer lived on campus when the investigation started in the spring of 2004 and is listed at an on-campus residence in court records.Lauren Phillips
