In regards to the editorial ("Help wanted" SN 1/19), they were not so suddenly understaffed. I was a patient there. They sent out a notice of their intent in October. I received my patient notification in November. They left around the end of December. The transition to their new practice in East Lansing was smooth. When I needed to see them in January, they were there for me.
Maybe before MSU decides to make another move to Grand Rapids for "financial reasons," they should consider the lives of their students, employees and the people in Lansing that depend on them for care.
