Two people involved in a motorcycle-pedestrian accident at Wilson Road and Farm Lane Wednesday are still hospitalized, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said.The exact condition of the MSU student who was hit while crossing Wilson Road is unknown, and her name is still not being released. The motorcyclist suffered short-term memory loss, and his name is not being released, McGlothian-Taylor said. Police continue to investigate the accident, McGlothian-Taylor said. A banner was stolen from 15 feet up a light pole at Wilson and Red Cedar roads between Thursday and Friday, McGlothian-Taylor said.The MSU College of Engineering sign, which on the reverse side read "Our Grads Are Good To Go," was reported missing between Thursday at noon and Friday at 8 a.m. by a 46-year-old female university employee. The 3-by-6-foot banner was worth between $500-$600 and was held up with dowel rods. Police have no suspects, and continue to investigate the incident, McGlothian-Taylor said. A 20-year-old nonstudent reported his car pushed into another car in a neighboring parking spot early Sunday morning, McGlothian-Tayor said.The man told police his 1999 Pontiac Grand Prix was parked across from East Akers Hall at 5 a.m. When he returned at 9:30 a.m., he noticed his car was pushed sideways into a 1993 Chevrolet Lumina.According to police, the Grand Prix suffered body damage on the passenger side of the car. There was a dent near the rear driver-side door, both side mirrors were broken, the windshield wipers were broken and there were scrapes and scratches on the driver's side.McGlothian-Taylor said the student was visiting for the weekend, and said police do not know who did the damage or why the car was pushed.Police continue to investigate the incident, McGlothian-Taylor said.
