A 21-year-old male student was assaulted while working in East Wilson Hall early Friday morning, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said.At 3:10 a.m., a 19-year-old male student who did not live in the hall approached the employee and insulted his position. When the victim attempted to use the phone, the suspect grabbed papers on a desk and pushed the employee into the desk and door, McGlothian-Taylor said.The incident stopped when a friend arrived and escorted the suspect away, McGlothian-Taylor said.Police are still investigating the incident, McGlothian-Taylor said. A 42-year-old Dansville resident was arrested for shooting at a motorist with a BB gun Friday night, according to an Ingham County Sheriff's Department police report.The motorist said he was driving south on U.S. 127, near eastbound Interstate 96, when he became involved in a road rage incident with the 42-year-old suspect, who shot at his car while they were both moving, the report stated.The suspect was arrested and taken to Ingham County Jail for felonious assault.There were no injuries.
