A sound system was stolen from a car parked in Lot 89, south of Holden Hall, sometime between Aug. 30 and Sept. 3, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said.An 18-year-old male student reported a CD player, amplifier and sub-woofer worth $670 missing from his 1997 Honda Civic.An unknown suspect pried the front passenger window away from the door frame to enter the car and caused $200 in damage, said McGlothian-Taylor.Police have no suspects.• A 19-year-old female student found her CD player missing from her 1992 Chevrolet on Tuesday, McGlothian-Taylor said. The car was parked near Rather Hall. The $175 player and a Lonestar CD were stolen after an unknown suspect shattered the driver's side rear window, causing $100 in damage, said McGlothian-Taylor.
