The joystick that operates the MSU blimp along with several other items were reported stolen Friday from Jenison Field House, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said. Two cases, six 9.2-volt batteries and a charger were among the items missing, McGlothian-Taylor said. The total estimated value for the property is $720.The area was searched by police, but none of the items were recovered, McGlothian-Taylor said. Police have no suspects.• A burglary was reported Thursday at the Kellogg Center.A married couple from New York came back to their room after attending a wedding to find $815 worth of personal items missing, McGlothian-Taylor said. The missing items included a camera, an envelope containing $380 and a Mary Kay case containing make-up, McGlothian-Taylor said.The woman said she locked the door when they left the room earlier that day, McGlothian-Taylor said. Police have no suspects.
