An MSU police patrol discovered a severely damaged vehicle at 4:45 a.m. Sunday at a building at the Swine Teaching and Research Center southwest of the intersection of Farm Lane and Forest Road.MSU police Sgt. Keith McDaniel said the car ran into a stop sign and a fence before ramming into the building.The car, later identified as a Dodge, belongs to an MSU male student who lives off-campus and was interviewed by police. He left the scene of the accident with only minor injuries, McDaniel said."Drinking is suspected to be involved," McDaniel added. A male university employee reported the theft of a wallet between 1-5 p.m. on Wednesday from a coat in an office on the third floor of Student Services Building.Police have no suspects in the theft of the wallet and cash, which were valued at a combined total of $180."Apparently, some credit cards were used at a different location later on in the day," McDaniel said. Two banners were noticed missing from the main lounge area in the Union by janitorial staff members at 12:20 p.m. on Wednesday. Both three-by-two foot banners were green and white and valued at about $100. One was described to have a block "S" emblem and the other had a Sparty head on it, according to reports made by the Union.Police have no suspects.Jonathan Malavolti
