A bike valued at $700 was reported stolen between 3:45 p.m. and 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday from the southwest bike rack at the Union, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said.Police have no suspects in the theft of the yellow Raleigh Mountain Sport bike, which belonged to a 19-year-old Okemos man with no university affiliation. The man told police he locked the bike at the rack with a $10 cable lock and when he returned both were gone, McGlothian-Taylor said. Six university employees' cars were reported damaged between December 2003 and June 23, 2004 in Lot 30, which is located just south of Fee Hall and west of Hagadorn Road, McGlothian-Taylor said.The passenger side of each car was keyed, causing $100 in damage to each vehicle, according to McGlothian-Taylor.Damaged vehicles included: a red 1998 Dodge Caravan, a tan 2000 Chevrolet S-10 truck, a black 2000 Chrysler 300M, a black 2000 Pontiac Sunfire, a blue 1988 Chevrolet 1500 truck and a black 2001 Nissan Maxima.Jonathan Malavolti
