MSU freshman catcher Sean Walker was named to the Louisville Slugger Freshman All-American baseball team.

Walker started 48 of 54 games for MSU, while hitting .288 with 29 RBI's and 28 runs scored. He ranked second on the team in doubles (15) and fourth in home runs (9). He is the fourth Spartan selected for the honor in the past five seasons.
