A laptop valued at $2,400 was stolen at about noon on Wednesday from the tree fort in the Michigan 4-H Children's Garden, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said.The 2002 aqua blue Toshiba laptop was the property of a professional photographer from Mason, a 58-year-old male, who has no university affiliation, Taylor said.The photographer told police he was in the tree fort at the Children's Garden, located at the corner of Wilson Road and Bogue Street, taking pictures with a camera, which was hooked up to the laptop. He unhooked the camera from the laptop and moved to another location, only to find the laptop gone when he returned a short time later, Taylor said.Police have no suspects.
