Police have no suspects in the theft of more than $4,188 in equipment from Fee Hall between 4:30 p.m. on May 19 and 7:45 a.m. on May 20, MSU Department of Police and Public Safety Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said.A laptop computer and a black Samsonite case, valued at $1,800, and a projector and an In-Focus case, valued at $2,388.38, were reported missing by a 52-year-old female university employee, who works with the Statewide Campus System. Both pieces of equipment were taken from a locked room and no signs of forced entry were reported, McGlothian-Taylor said. Two vehicles were vandalized on May 26, one in the Shaw Ramp and the other in Lot 91, McGlothian-Taylor said.The first vehicle, a 1992 Nissan Maxima GXE, was located on the top level of the Shaw Ramp and was broken into sometime between 10:30 a.m. and 2 p.m., McGlothian-Taylor said.The front passenger side window was broken by an unknown object and taken was a radar detector mounted to the front windshield, said the complainant, a 35-year-old male university employee. The value of loss was reported to be $80, and the damage at $200, McGlothian-Taylor said.The second vandalized vehicle was a 1996 Toyota Celica, which was located in the northwest corner of Lot 91. A passenger-side window was broken by an unknown object between 8 a.m. and noon.The total value of loss was $980 and damages added up to $1500, said the complainant, a 19-year-old male student. Taken from the vehicle was: a Pioneer Mp3 and CD player, a black leather CD folder with six CDs valued at $80, a 12-inch Pioneer subwoofer valued at $100 and a 600 watt Kenwood amplifier, valued at $250.
