Skyrocketing gas prices halt travel

Each year we travel about 1,800 miles, but seeing that gas companies keep moving gas prices up, I and most of the people I know are not planning to travel outside of Michigan - or outside of town. I drive a full-size truck and $2.00 and more a gallon will not work. The laws stink when it comes to fair prices in gas. Someone spills a gallon of gas in Hong Kong, and the next day gas in Michigan goes up 10 cents. Not in one station, but every one. All the gas companies are crooks. There should be one honest gas company around. One company with the guts to say; "no, I will charge my customers a fair price." Shame on the American gas companies for doing this and on the media for acting like it's funny. Money will be lost, and a lot of honest hotels, fairs, functions will lose money this year.
