Police were called to the Capstone Commons Apartments, 2501 Abbott Road, Tuesday after two female complainants reported viewing a man masturbating, East Lansing police Capt. Juli Liebler said.Liebler said another female, age 25, also called about the man, who had earlier grabbed her buttocks as he rode by on a bicycle near the apartment complex.The man was later arrested by police and was charged with indecent exposure and fourth degree criminal sexual conduct. The two Detroit men charged with the murder of Lansing resident Joseph Lavon Parker and then fleeing police after the Feb. 29 shooting at an East Lansing 7-Eleven, had their 30th Circuit Court arraignment waived Wednesday at the Veterans Memorial Courthouse, 313 W. Kalamazoo St. in Lansing.Pleas of not guilty were entered on the behalf of Eric Charles Gordy and Hatarie Deamont McCorkle, ages 35 and 29, respectively, whose pre-trial conference will be heard by Judge Thomas Brown on June 9. An approximate total of $85 was stolen from the MSU Grounds Maintenance Building between 3:30 p.m. Friday and 6:35 a.m. Monday, said MSU Department of Police and Public Safety Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor.The money was taken from two separate desks on the first floor in the building. One desk was left locked but discovered unlocked, according to the complainant, a 50-year-old female employee. The rest of the money was taken from an unlocked desk, which was located in a locked office. Police have no suspects and the case is under investigation, McGlothian-Taylor said.Jonathan Malavolti
