• Lot 83, located near the Food Stores building, was the scene of multiple thefts Tuesday, according to MSU Department of Police and Public Safety Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor.A 21-year-old female student reported $400 in damages and losses to her Honda Civic, after an unknown object was used to smash in the rear-passenger side window. McGlothian-Taylor said a shelf-stereo system, which was left in plain sight, was stolen from the locked car.And a 27-year-old female from Chicago, with no university affiliation, contacted police after finding her 1999 Honda Accord's front passenger window was shattered.An Aiwa car stereo and several CD's were reported stolen.Police say they believe the incidents might be connected and they have no suspects.McGlothian-Taylor said there were other similar larcenies in the same lot Tuesday, but no reports were filed.Jonathan Malavolti
