A window was reported broken on the sixth floor of East Wilson Hall on Saturday, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said.Police made contact with the suspect, a 19-year-old male student, who said he was angry at his ex-girlfriend and had been drinking alcohol at the time.The man admitted to police he pushed both his hands through the window out of anger. He was transported to Lansing's Sparrow Hospital for treatment of cuts to his arms.Value of the damaged window is estimated at $100.• A 20-year-old male student told police his car was broken into between Sunday and Monday, McGlothian-Taylor said.The car was parked in Ramp 1 near Shaw Lane at the time. A window on the car was broken and a stereo and cell phone were taken from the car.Value of the loss is estimated at $230.While the officer was with the student, the officer noticed a car parked nearby had been broken into and contacted the owner, a 22-year-old male student. A window also was broken on that car, and the stereo had been taken.Estimated value of the loss is $200. Police have no suspects in either incident.
