A 19-year-old female student told police she was sexually assaulted in her North Case Hall room on Friday, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said.The woman told police the suspect, a 20-year-old male student, was an acquaintance of hers.Police are continuing to investigate.• A male student, 19, reported his cell phone stolen from the IM Sports-East gym on Monday, McGlothian-Taylor said.The student left the phone with other belongings near a doorway of a gym as he played basketball. When he was about to leave, he noticed the phone was missing.Estimated value of the phone is $100 and police have no suspects.• An 18-year-old female student reported a cell phone stolen from her West Holden Hall room on Monday, McGlothian-Taylor said.The student told police she had left her room for a short period of time and did not lock the door. When she returned, the phone was gone.Value of the phone is estimated at $160, and police have no suspects.
