The annual Global Festival will take place from noon to 5 p.m Sunday at the Union

Co-sponsored by the University Activities Board and Community Volunteers for International Programs, the event will host many events aimed to increase international cultural awareness in the community.

Events will include international performances, exhibits, prizes and games for children. There also will be a world gift shop that will sell international items to raise money for a scholarship program from Community Volunteers for International Programs.

During the festival, The Global Cafe will be open from noon to 3 p.m., serving different ethnic dishes from around the world.
