At the movies

"Brother Bear"

Yeah, it's sappy, but what do you expect from a Disney cartoon?
Rated G
3 stars (I just want to correct Wednesday's rating. Sometime during the night my heart grew three sizes, making me love the sappy stuff.)

"Intolerable Cruelty"

The only bad thing about this movie is that the Coen brothers didn't totally write the script.
Rated PG-13
4.5 stars

"Kill Bill: Vol 1"

You may want to wear a raincoat when you see this movie. Some blood might land on your clothes.
Rated R
5 stars

"Mystic River"

A great suspense film. If you like good thrillers and actors at the top of their game, then check this one out.
Rated R
5 stars

"School of Rock"

A rock classic. Jack Black at the top of his game.
Rated PG-13
4 stars

"The Texas Chainsaw Massacre"

Not as good as the original, but it'll still do the job of scaring your date.
Rated R
3.5 stars

"Under the Tuscan Sun"

A chick flick with little in the way of surprises. Still, there are characters you care about, with great cinematography
Rated PG-13
3.5 stars
