A 37-year-old male nonstudent was injured after being struck in the face with a lead pipe during an altercation outside the Pavilion for Agriculture and Livestock Education, MSU police Sgt. Matt Merony said. The disturbance started when a 34-year-old man used the pipe to smash in the windshield of a 1991 Chevrolet Camaro, belonging to the relative of a 25-year-old man who had struck him with his fist.The 37-year-old approached the 34-year-old, who allegedly hit him across the face with the pipe. The case has been sent to the Ingham County Prosecutor's Office for review. l An 18-year-old female Holmes Hall resident told police on Saturday that she never received magazines she ordered. The student complained that a white female in her late 20s sold her two magazine subscriptions for a total of $80, but the magazines never were delivered. Police have no suspects. A male university employee at Shaw Hall told police a cutlery set was stolen on Saturday or Sunday. The set was located in the men's locker room of the cafeteria and worth an estimated $200-300. Police have no suspects. A 36-year-old male nonstudent reported damage to his 1996 Dodge Ram in Lot 62, near Spartan Stadium.The driver's side window was broken, but nothing was missing. Damage is estimated at $400. Police have no suspects.
